Often times, we want instant success, fame, wealth, health, etc. We forget, that it took us a long time to get into the debt we’re in or cause the poor health we have. The same time it took to get into that mess, could potentially be how long it takes you to get out of it. The good news is, it’s never too late to start.
This building wasn’t built overnight. It took time, effort, and precision. The more we make right decisions on a day by day basis, the quicker we’ll reach our goal. Choosing the salad over the hamburger or the extra half hour of sleep each night will add up. Choosing to not buy something because you can’t pay the bill at the end of the month will not only keep your bank account larger, but it’ll also create discipline. Few good things comes instantaneously – however, when those good things finally arrive, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you worked for it, fought for it, and waited patiently for it.
As someone once said, “Live the way people won’t, so you can live the way others can’t.”
Here’s to wishing you the best Friday and a life well lived, friend. =)
