Who you surround yourself with will make the difference between success or failure. That might sound like a heavy statement to make, but think about it.
If you surround yourself with people who like to save money, work hard, and give back to the community, likelihood is that you will soon be doing the same. Conversely, if you hang out with people who like to get drunk, spend money wildly, and take advantage of others, there is a strong probability that you will become more and more like those people, if you haven’t already.
Who we surround ourselves with is of the utmost importance. It will either set us up with the strong potential to succeed or fail. The saying, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future” hits the nail on the head.
This weekend, I had the opportunity to hang out with some of the amazing people I work with. We decided to take a car “selfie” and as you can see, we all have very different expressions. I’m slightly ashamed to admit that by that evening, I too stuck my tongue out in a silly expression (as did most of the people pictured here). It’s a funny, but true, example of how quickly we mold to our surroundings.
Friends, be careful who you surround yourself with. Who you spend the most time with, is most often who you will become.
